You might find some zombie contact lenses that are totally blacked-out, meaning that the entire eye is solid black, and sometimes they works great, but for this movie, the way the zombies have these beady little black eyes works great. It’s a nice composition based off the the bright white snow that you’re constantly bombarded with during the movie. Great choice in zombie make-up and contact lens choice.

This keeps the zombies mesmerized while they make a clean getaway. The only problem is that one of the zombies has evolved in a way, and realizes what they are doing. This is the main zombie of the movie, and the leader of the zombies that eventually overthrow the hold of the humans.

They aren’t technically living dead, which many fans of the genre will say excludes it, and that part is true, it’s the rage virus, but I think the term zombie can encompass many more things than it might have earlier the film genre when it was first introduced.
